The proxy service is included for free, but as always is not encrypted, so it is best to use it when you need fast download speeds for non-sensitive material. The difference is that you aren't trying to use the VPN company's network—you are using their protected tunnel to access the rest of the Internet.

I discuss speed later, but I am very pleased with the network performance when connected to Asian servers, although it isn't quite up to par with what Freedome offers.
